Jeep Brand Celebrates 75 Years With a Throwback-inspired Commemorative Model

December 20th, 2016 by

Our Jeep Brand SUVs here at Garavel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram have always been cast as prototypically American vehicles, and they didn’t get that reputation by accident. In fact, the Jeep Brand actually got its start during one the most formative moments in American history, and now with 75 years on and off the road, it’s important to look back and remember just how these iconic 4×4 vehicles got their start.

Now, it’s not uncommon to see Jeep Brand vehicles nearly everywhere these days, but when they first rolled off the line in 1941, it was to provide support to our American forces in World War II. Originally designed as light duty 4×4 vehicles for use in the field, Jeep Brand vehicles have proved an invaluable resource for American troops, and their image and capability have endured the test of time. To celebrate its longevity and history with the U.S. Military, Jeep Brand has also released a special edition model to commemorate it’s 75 year anniversary and bring back the classic form of its first model.

For those who want to celebrate Jeep Brand’s heritage, many of our new Jeep Brand models come available with 75th Anniversary special edition trims, making them unbeatable bets for those who want to share in Jeep Brand’s long, proud history. If you’re interested in test driving these models, don’t hesitate to visit us at Garavel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Norwalk, CT for a test drive at your earliest convenience.
